Job Summary
Produce bioprocess containers in a cleanroom environment by assembling tubing, operating machinery, and packaging goods according to Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate with upstream and downstream stations to ensure product quality while maintaining accurate documentation in Production Control Documents. Participate in improvement activities including 5S, assist with training, and troubleshoot issues to meet production goals. Adhere to a 10-hour shift schedule and follow strict safety and cGMP requirements, including wearing required PPE and gowning.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
- No contact lens allowed
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- Ability to stand for full shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in cleanroom manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field
- Experience in a cGMP environment
- Ability to manage workflow
- Ability to understand the work schedule
- Ability to communicate and work with others
- Able to measure in 10th of an inch
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend written materials with words, pictures, and numbers
- Proficiency in counting, calculating, and measuring accurately
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions, both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced regulated cleanroom environment, including overtime when necessary
- Physical agility for standing, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and grasping
- Use of equipment and hand tools requiring forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Knowledge of common chemicals are disinfecting, solvents and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%)
