Job Summary
Line Lead responsibilities include assisting with interview processes and tours, coordinating monthly training with the Farm Supervisor, ensuring safe and efficient operation of packaging machinery, managing yield and task progress to meet targets, performing setup/startup checks, conducting quality checks on equipment, completing Pre-Op and daily checks, and maintaining PPE and work order documentation. The role requires GMP knowledge, attention to food safety, strong organizational skills, delegation ability, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced food production environment; prior packing experience (1+ year) and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year packing experience in a food production environment
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Ability to identify and report updates and possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety
- Organizational skills and consistency, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
- Detail and quality oriented
- Ability to delegate tasks to team members
