Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of assigned production lines in the Blow Mold Department, operating and monitoring equipment including fillers, carton formers, and drop-packers. Lead production team members, coordinate workflow, and manage line changeovers on Line 1 and Line 2 while conducting quality inspections and troubleshooting process issues. Monitor schedules to meet daily performance goals, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Train staff on safety practices and operational standards, ensuring full compliance with GMP requirements and safety policies. Work the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, at the Alsip, Illinois facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5 years previous manufacturing or production experience
- 2 years previous experience in a Lead role in a production environment
- Strong working knowledge of production equipment, processes, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to train and motivate employees
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of material
- Must be available for overtime and weekend work
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, including a criminal record check and drug testing
