Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe (Texas-based brand with multiple locations). Responsible for executing grill and fryer items to temperature and spec, setting up and breaking down your station each shift, communicating with expo/front-of-house/kitchen, and adhering to food safety standards. Cross-train for prep tasks and cross-station coverage as needed. Must have 2+ years line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, grill/fryer station proficiency, strong knife skills, ability to work under high-volume service, and hold a food handler certification. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling available (full-time and part-time). Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and stay composed during high-volume service
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
