Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook responsibilities include executing all grill and fryer items to temperature and spec, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down your station for each shift, and communicating clearly with expo, front-of-house, and kitchen teams. Maintain food safety, sanitation, and standard procedures; assist with prep tasks and cross-station coverage as needed. Requires 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, proficient grill/fryer station work, strong knife skills, and a valid food handler certification. Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities at Cotton Patch Cafe in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Food handler certification required
