Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe responsible for executing grill and fryer items to temperature and spec, setting up/maintaining/breaking down your station, communicating with expo/front-of-house/kitchen, following food safety standards, and assisting with prep and cross-station coverage as needed. Requires 2+ years of line/grill cook experience, grill/fryer station proficiency, knife skills, ability to work efficiently during high-volume service, and a food handler certification. Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options; includes paid training and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
