Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe in Texas. Own and operate your grill/fryer station, set up and break down your work area, communicate with expo and kitchen team, and maintain food safety standards. Requires 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, grill/fryer proficiency, strong knife skills, the ability to work efficiently under high volume, and a food handler certification. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling available for full-time and part-time roles with opportunities for advancement and employee benefits. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and stay composed during high-volume service
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
