Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook manages grill and fryer items from setup to service, executing items to specified temperatures and standards. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and breaking down your station each shift; clear communication with expo, front-of-house, and kitchen teams; adhering to food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls; and assisting with prep tasks and cross-station coverage as needed. Candidates should have 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, proven grill/fryer station skills, strong knife technique, the ability to work efficiently under high-volume service, and a valid food handler certification.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
