Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe in Round Rock, TX. Full-Time and Part-Time position responsible for executing grill and fryer items to temperature and spec, setting up/breaking down your station, maintaining clear communication with expo and kitchen staff, and upholding food safety standards. May assist with prep tasks and provide cross-station coverage. Requires 2+ years of line/grill cook experience, proficiency at grill/fryer stations, strong knife skills, ability to work efficiently during high-volume service, and ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Eligible candidates should have a food handler certification and be committed to quality hospitality and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
