Job Summary
Line/Grill Cook needed at Cotton Patch Cafe to own a grill/fryer station, maintain pace during high-volume service, and ensure food safety. Responsibilities include executing grill and fryer items to temperature and spec, setting up/breaking down your station, coordinating with expo/front-of-house/kitchen teams, assisting with prep, and cross-station coverage as needed. Requirements include 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant, proven grill/fryer station experience, strong knife skills, ability to work under pressure, and a food handler certification. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of line/grill cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven grill/fryer station experience; confidence cooking proteins to temp
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of line cooking techniques
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
