Job Summary
Drivers are responsible for operating their assigned equipment legally and safely while transporting products. Essential duties include conducting pre-trip inspections, adhering to posted speed limits and highway laws, reporting delays, completing necessary trip reports, and maintaining compliance with D.O.T. regulations. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and pass pre-employment drug tests. Preferred qualifications include driving experience and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid (CDL) Commercial Driver's License - Class A with tanker endorsement
- 2 Years CDL-Driving experience
- Pass the Federal Highway Safety Administration, U.S DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug test
- Pass company driver’s road test
- No suspended or revoked drivers license within the past five (5) years
- No moving violations within the past twelve (12) months
- No felony convictions or any pending felony charges
- No D.W.I. convictions within the past five (5) years
- Agree to check past driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Driving experience
- Good communication / relationship skills with drivers, vendors, customers and suppliers
- Basic computer skills
