Job Summary
Line Crossing Technician II at Enbridge supports safe, reliable pipeline operations by completing line-crossing activities, locating/staking pipelines, coordinating with landowners/third parties, monitoring right-of-way, and assisting with inspections, emergency response, and reporting. The role requires a safety-focused individual with a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass background and drug screenings, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills to negotiate cross-ings, document findings, educate on One-Call violations, and participate in regional stakeholder efforts. Field duties include long hours in varied weather, physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds), and adherence to company safety, integrity, and inclusion values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in safety-conscious field environment
- valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
- ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, physical, and background check
- proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook
