• •Certified Journeyman Lineman
• •CDL
• •Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 7 years related experience and/or training, and 5 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• •Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals
• •Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• •Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats

• •Must be able to take charge of substation inspections
• •Must be able to maintain OMPA lines and substations
• •Must be able to perform any other related duties as required or assigned
• •Must be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• •Must be able to interview, hire and train employees

• •Must be able to supervise a moderate size group (8-15) of employees engaged in important, complex operations

• •Must be able to regularly be responsible for funds, building premises, inventory, or other property owned, controlled, or leased by the organization
• •Must be able to have temporary custody and responsibility of patron property
• •Must be able to perform work operations which permit frequent opportunity for decision-making of minor importance and also frequent opportunity for decision-making of major importance
• •Must be able to perform work operations requiring very close and continuous attention for control of operations which require a high degree of coordination or immediate response
• •Must be able to perform work operations requiring intermittent direct thinking to determine or select the most applicable way of handling situations regarding the organization's administration and operations
• •Must be able to determine or select material and equipment where highly variable sequences are involved
• •Must be able to perform high order of analytical, interpretative, and/or constructive thinking in varied situations
