Job Summary
Prepare components of all menu items following company recipes and yield guides; work across line stations including Sauté, Grill, Pantry, and Fry Station; efficiently run your station and coordinate with teammates; ensure food is cooked to high quality and served in a timely fashion; maintain sanitation and safe handling of tools and storage; label and rotate items (FIFO) and maintain stock for your station; collaborate effectively in a high-energy kitchen environment; open availability for primarily PM/dinner service shifts; compliance with health department requirements and safety standards; physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years restaurant experience in a kitchen
- Degree from a food service program, culinary school or equivalent preferred
- Non-expired Food Handler Certification required
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Stand or walk for extended periods of time or entire work shift
