Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing meals according to established recipes and standards, maintaining food safety and sanitation, and keeping a clean, organized work area. Collaborates with kitchen team to ensure efficient service, sets up and stocks stations, ensures attractive presentation, assists with ingredient prep, manages inventory and communicates shortages, adheres to portion controls to minimize waste, and may assist in training junior kitchen staff. Requires 2 years of line cook experience, knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Physical duties include lifting, standing, and moving kitchen items throughout shifts. The role is based in Tampa, FL with in-person duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience as a line cook
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
