Job Summary
Line Cook position at The Club at Eaglebrooke (Lakeland, FL) with full-time hours; assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all outlets on the property, follow standard recipes, help conduct monthly food/supplies inventory, and maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment. Requires 1-2 years cooking experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Must be dependable, able to work in a fast-paced, team environment, take direction, and adhere to Health Department regulations. Responsibilities include set-up and preparation of items, distribution of food and supplies, general cleaning and storage duties, and performing other duties as assigned; work long periods standing, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cooking experience preferred
- Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) Diploma
- Experience in managing and upholding a safe working condition
- Understanding the knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to take direction
