Job Summary
Line Cook is responsible for assisting with meal and food preparation, regulation compliance (reporting), and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas as assigned by Food Service Director. Works with facility leadership to ensure success by maintaining orderly storage and cleanliness, recording temperature charts for refrigerators/freezers, using approved cleaning agents, removing trash, safely operating kitchen equipment (e.g., meat slicer), and inventories of food service items. Requires willingness to work for the facility's best interests, ability to cooperate with others, and adherence to health/safety practices; Sundays are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- ServSafe Certification required.
- Minimum one (1) year in a related field required.
