Job Summary
Line Cook at The VIG North Central – prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensure food safety and sanitation, collaborate with team for timely service, assist in inventory management and stock rotation, follow safety procedures and proper handling of equipment. Requires proven line cook experience, knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety, ability to work under pressure, strong communication and teamwork skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
