Job Summary
Prepare or direct the preparation of food using established production procedures and systems; determine amounts of food and supplies required; ensure supplies and food are available for preparation; set the steam table and properly serve food; comply with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and recipes; store food safely and label dates; report equipment repairs; plan production to align with meal serving hours while preserving quality, temperature, and appearance; maintain daily production records; keep workstation clean and maintain equipment; perform temperature checks prior to service and follow diet orders; assist with other duties as directed by the supervisor.
