Job Summary
As a Line Cook, contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing dishes according to standard recipes, maintaining portion control and proper storage, and ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas. This role involves monitoring supplies to facilitate timely reordering, minimizing waste, and working within the hotel’s Food & Beverage culinary team to craft visually appealing, high-quality dishes for breakfast and dinner service. Key skills include food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, inventory awareness, and ability to stand for long periods. Prior hotel kitchen experience (minimum 1 year) and completion of a Culinary or Apprenticeship program are preferred, along with a Managers Food Handler Certification. This is a part-time position based in Park Ridge, NJ with on-site responsibilities.
