Job Summary
Line Cook prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items for the line and special functions, following stand recipes and presenting items per standards. Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary work areas, uses kitchen equipment per manufacturer instructions, coordinates and times orders with other kitchen operations, assists with prep for the line, notifies leadership of inventory shortages, and supports maintenance, safety, sanitation, and energy conservation. Requires well-developed problem-solving, planning and organizational abilities; ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays and flexible shifts; seeks continuous improvement in culinary programs. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associates degree in Culinary a plus; two+ years of fine-dining experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in Culinary (preferred)
- Two years or more experience in Fine Dining establishments preferred
- Must be available for emergency and scheduled work requirements on evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Must be available to work flexible shifts and overtime if necessary
