Job Summary
Line Cook needed for The Bay Bar and Grille in Bozeman, MT. Join a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on preparing menu items efficiently, maintaining a clean work area, communicating effectively with staff, stocking and prepping designated areas, minimizing waste, and assisting in opening/closing procedures. Weekend shifts are required; full-time and part-time positions available. Pay: $20-$24/hour plus tips. Benefits include daily shift meal, retailer discounts, advancement opportunities, and PTO for full-time staff. Training is available for candidates with restaurant experience and Food Handler or ServeSafe certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferable
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred
- General knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely around hazardous equipment and chemicals
