Job Summary
Line Cook at Snooze responsible for ensuring that each breakfast item is prepared with high quality, care, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities include maintaining quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes; being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information; preparing a variety of items using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers; maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation; handling products in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines; requires 1 year of restaurant experience; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; standing for extended periods; 18+; county food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry
- A minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
- Able to communicate clearly with management staff
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours
- 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment
