Job Summary
Line Cook at Snooze responsible for quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes; must know all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation basics; prepares a variety of items using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers; maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and handles products per Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines; requires familiarity with knives, immersion blenders, mixers, scales, and portion bags; minimum 1 year of restaurant experience with 6 months in high-volume settings preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours; must be at least 17 and authorized to work in the US; certification requirements for county food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment; role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with management, and a safe, efficient kitchen environment.
