Job Summary
Prepare and cook food according to the hotel’s standards across breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service; operate cooking stations efficiently and safely; follow recipes and quality standards; maintain sanitation and safety; manage guest orders in a friendly, timely manner; inspect food before serving; ensure workspace is stocked and follow opening/closing procedures; assist in requisitioning supplies; work under supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef; requires Safe Serve certification and an Associate's degree in culinary arts or 6 months–1 year of related experience; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification required.
