Job Summary
Line Cook position at Stonebridge hotel in Bozeman, MT. Responsible for preparing and cooking food according to hotel standards across breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service. Operate cooking station efficiently under supervision of Executive Chef; prepare ingredients, follow designated recipes, maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards, manage guest orders promptly, inspect and stock kitchen areas, and assist with requisitions for supplies. Requires knowledge of pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts; ability to follow recipes, work in a high-paced kitchen, and comply with safety and sanitation guidelines. Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification is required; associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent or 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation methods, including pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
- Ability to use cooking metrics and conversion methods for measurements.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions, ensuring consistency in quality.
- Experience in high-paced kitchen environments.
- Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
