Job Summary
Read and interpret recipes while working with the culinary team to ensure quality and constancy of food items. Conduct inventory and adhere to standards for sanitation and safe food handling procedures. Possess knife skills, adjust preparations for flavor, and accommodate customer needs in a timely manner. Previous cooking experience is required, along with a valid State Food Handler's License, driver's license, and ability to read simple instructions. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $23 DOE. Sage Lodge offers rustic elegance on Yellowstone riverfront, just 35 minutes from the park, featuring 50 guestrooms and dining at The Fireside Room.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience
- Necessary State Food Handler's License(s)
- Must have valid driver license
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Must posses knife skills
