Job Summary
Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. Wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients from entrees, appetizers, and garnishes. Carve and slice meats and cheese. Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, and salads following recipes. Preps all food according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, and plate presentation standards. Displays proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation, including hand washing, gloves, and knife skills. Maintains the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for work areas, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving. Reports to work on time as indicated on the schedule.
