Job Summary
Prepares or directs food preparation using established procedures, correctly cooking all items per standard recipes and special diet orders. Plans production to coordinate with meal serving hours, portions and plates food, and maintains daily production records. Follows proper food handling techniques, labels and stores ingredients to reduce waste, and keeps work areas clean and stocked. Complies with sanitation and health standards while reporting equipment maintenance needs. Operates small tools and manages high-volume production in a fast-paced steak house environment. Performs duties for 8-10 hours per shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, with flexible scheduling and a two-shift minimum.
Required Qualifications
- Be of legal working age
- Must be able to lift & carry 35 lbs. Unassisted
- Have the ability to move around 80-90% per shift
- Must be able to perform work for 8-10 hours per shift
- Operate & handle small tools
- Comfortable working in warm environment
- Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
