Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for daily food production in the Prepared Foods Department, including showcase, cold bar, grab & go, and catering. Contributes to a positive, team-driven kitchen culture; maintains standards for taste, texture, temperature, labeling, and rotation; collaborates with team members and leadership; expects to work with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in a commercial kitchen and ability to follow standardized recipes and production guides are emphasized; customer service skills and effective communication are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food production setting preferred
- Solid understanding of culinary fundamentals and cooking techniques
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper product rotation
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guides accurately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs
