Job Summary
Line Cook position at Patty Wagon, a locally owned gourmet burger restaurant in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking stations, chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, cooking menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, stocking and rotating inventory, washing dishes as needed, and maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Scheduling involves part-time and full-time shifts with day and night coverage, Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays; must be available to work Friday and Saturday. Training provided for cooking tasks. Local applicant location: Oklahoma City, OK. Required Qualifications
- Cooking experience not required (training provided)
- Able to meet scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in kitchen
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be organized, self-motivated and able to perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift 60 pounds
- Able to stand for long periods of time
