Job Summary

Line Cook at Stonebridge-managed Residence Inn in Seattle is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to the hotel’s standards under a chef, assisting across breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service while ensuring consistency and safety. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients before service, operating the cooking station efficiently, following designated recipes and quality standards, maintaining sanitation and safe handling of food, producing high-quality pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, managing guest orders in a friendly and timely manner, inspecting food before plating, ensuring the workspace is stocked, and following opening/closing procedures. The role requires following recipes and instructions from the Chef or supervisor, and accommodating disabled workers as needed. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent or 6 months to 1 year of related experience, strong knowledge of food preparation methods, ability to follow recipes with consistency, experience in a high-paced kitchen, Safe Serve/Food Handler certification, and excellent time management and organizational skills. The position is part-time, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is located in Seattle, WA at a Residence Inn property. Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training

  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions, ensuring consistency in quality
  • Experience in high-paced kitchen environments
  • Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification required
