Job Summary
Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements while maintaining sanitation and health standards. Slice meats, arrange and garnish plates, and test foods to ensure proper cooking. Report maintenance issues for kitchen equipment and consult with kitchen leadership to plan menus and estimate consumption. Provide high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner with direct guest contact at the buffet line or to order. Maintain excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00 with 401(k) matching, and the position remains open until November 20, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment, including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous cook or prep cook experience highly preferred.
- ServSafe preferred.
