Job Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for cooking and cold food production for patients and retail cafes, utilizing batch cooking techniques, and ensuring safe food handling and storage. Responsibilities include food service delivery, setting up and tearing down food service stations, cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas, and serving food to guests. Candidates should possess the ability to read, basic math and computer skills, and at least one year of external food service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read short sentences with common vocabulary
- Foodservice experience desired
- Math Skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Basic computer skills
- High School degree or equivalent
- 1 year external foodservice experience
- Pass pre-employment screening and physical exam
Additional Requirements
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check
- A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process
