Job Summary
Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers, following recipes and company specifications. Wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients from entrees, appetizers, and garnishes. Carve and slice meats and cheese. Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items. Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for all work areas, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving. Display proper food safety techniques, including hand washing, glove use, and knife skills. Ensure all items are prepared according to quality standards and plate presentation. Report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately. Work flexible shifts with paid time off and closed major holidays.
