Job Summary
Prepares, cooks, garnishes, and plates products served in the Café; maintains sanitary kitchen work station; follows recipes and portion standards; operates professional kitchen equipment and handles braising/poaching/simmering/baking/roasting/stir-frying etc.; ensures correct storage, rotation, and ordering needs; emphasizes sanitation, teamwork, and attention to detail while maintaining quality and cost controls. Must be available to work weekends and nights.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent is required
- Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is preferred
- Previous Line Cook experience is preferred
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and nights
