Job Summary
MIKA is looking for line cooks with previous experience in fine dining to maintain high standards in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness. Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and handle pressure effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and contribute to a harmonious service environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods of time.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain all required licenses, certificates, or permits.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Additional Requirements
- Must have open availability and the ability to regularly report to work on time including on nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant.
- Ability to work long days when required by business demands.
- Ability to frequently lift heavy items, including trays, up to 50lbs.
