Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for cooking food to Executive Chef and UCBC standards, following recipes, and preparing meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items using oven and kitchen equipment. Maintains station setup and closing duties, ensures product quality, and adheres to health and safety standards. Tasks include stocking, rotating food products, keeping the work area clean, assisting with festivals/events, and serving as an ambassador for the company. Requires Hepatitis A vaccination and ServSafe Certification; minimum 1 year cooking experience; ability to read recipes, perform basic math, work under pressure, and be at least 21 years old.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year cooking experience
- 21 years or older
- Hepatitis A vaccination record
- ServSafe Certification
- Good working knowledge of fundamentals of cooking and sanitation
- Ability to read recipes
