Job Summary
Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications, focusing on seafood and raw bar offerings. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times. Follow recipes, plating standards, and prep instructions to ensure consistency and quality. Assist with daily prep tasks, including cleaning, chopping, and organizing ingredients. Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and fellow cooks to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative team atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook (2–3 years strongly preferred)
- Experience in upscale-casual or fine-dining kitchen environment, preferably with seafood or raw bar dishes is a PLUS
- Familiarity with high-volume, scratch kitchens and ability to work across multiple stations (grill, sauté, pantry)
- Ability to execute dishes consistently and efficiently, following recipes and plating standards
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
