Job Summary
Savoy Line Cook: Prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas, Italian entrees, and appetizers to order in a fast-paced kitchen. Maintain cleanliness and organization, follow recipes and plating specifications, assist with daily prep tasks, rotate and store ingredients to minimize waste, and collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and teammates to ensure smooth service. The role requires experience in a high-volume kitchen, proficiency with multiple stations (grill, sauté, prep), strong knife skills, strict adherence to food safety standards, reliability, and a team-focused mindset. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook (2–3 years strongly preferred)
- Experience with wood-fired pizzas or Italian cuisine is a PLUS
- Familiarity with high-volume, scratch kitchens and attention to detail
- Ability to work all stations, including grill, sauté, and prep
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and prep instructions with precision
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- A passion for food and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards
