Job Summary

Responsible for the preparation and/or cooking of food by following company-directed specifications; sets up station according to guidelines to ensure guest safety; coordinates food orders for timely service; executes designated preparation and/or line stations; maintains safety standards and cleanliness; cross-trains on line, prep, and dish stations; adheres to company policies; typical high-volume restaurant duties; hourly rate of $17-$18.

Required Qualifications

  • Six months to one year minimum as a prep/line cook in a full-service, high volume restaurant
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques used in prep/line cook role
  • Ability to set up and stock stations
  • Staff training and cross-training ability
  • Ability to meet guest requests with quality standards
