Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of all menu items in a busy Chicago-area restaurant. Follow prescribed recipes and accommodate special requests, read a thermometer accurately, and maintain food safety and quality standards. Able to multitask calmly under pressure in a compact kitchen, communicate effectively with coordinators and service staff, and work a flexible schedule including weekends. Adhere to portioning controls, manage allergy procedures, and ensure proper sanitation and safety guidelines. Must be a team player and align with company policies; other duties as assigned.
