Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing meals with high-quality ingredients, setting up the kitchen, presenting dishes, supervising and delegating tasks to team members, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food safety. Duties include creating menus according to season, participating in opening/closing procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ServeSafe or Food Handler certification, advanced culinary knowledge, strong time-management skills, ability to work under pressure, and physical stamina for standing and lifting up to 40 pounds. Located in Los Altos, CA with full-time schedule and competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
