Job Summary
Line Cook will be responsible for the high-quality preparation, cooking, and/or production of dishes according to the menu and recipe specifications, following instructions relating to timely preparation of food orders, organizing workstations, and assisting other cooks as needed. Responsibilities include preparing a variety of high-quality dishes per guest orders, working across different kitchen line stations, weighing and measuring ingredients, maintaining knowledge of recipes, allergens, and presentation, ensuring food quality and safety, labeling and FIFO, stocking stations, and following company policies. Must be proficient in knife skills and cooking methods, able to work independently and in a team, and able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, and effective communication are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant experience; fine dining and high-volume experience required
- Culinary degree and/or certificate is highly desirable
