Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing menu items to spec, performing prep tasks, receiving and labeling products, properly dating items, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Duties include opening/closing and side duties, stocking, operating line, expo, and back dock stations, following safety and sanitation standards, reading order tickets or Kitchen Display System items, assembling orders, and demonstrating product knowledge. Must perform re-cook or special preps as needed in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Line Cook experience required
- General knowledge of safety & sanitation standards
- Ability to read order tickets or kitchen display system
- Ability to stay calm in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
