Job Summary
Prepare and present food in accordance with recipes and quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and grains. Monitor and control kitchen maintenance, sanitation, and equipment safety while ensuring proper food storage and waste control. Work as a team player in a small confined space, following directions and maintaining consistent safe and sanitary preparation throughout the shift. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must hold an Active California Food Handlers Certificate, pass a drug test and background check, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S. Parkwest Casino seeks a talented individual to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Open availability
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- Active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
