Job Summary
Prepare simple dishes including salads, raw bar platters, pizzas, and desserts by following chef-prepared lists and basic recipes. Operate kitchen equipment to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and trim ingredients while ensuring daily prep tasks are completed before service. Taste products, check production, and maintain records to plan requirements and requisition supplies. Adhere to sanitation, food handling, and allergen procedures, utilizing approved standards for quality, temperature, and portion control. Label and stock ingredients, clean workstations, and manage inventory for the food truck, including loading, unloading, and setup. Work evenings, holidays, and weekends in Amherst or Derry. Full-time role with a starting salary of $20/hour.

- Attention to kitchen safety, cleanliness, punctuality and organization
- Excellent representation of the LaBelle Winery Brand
- Team mentality
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, where weekends and holidays and evenings are a must
- Must be a team player who will protect the company and its brand in each and every aspect of the job
- Must possess a desire to work efficiently and urgently to complete daily tasks
- Must have knowledge of proper knife skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking procedure
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders
- Ability to work in a food/wine environment
- Food safety certification
- 1+ years culinary experience
- Complete knowledge of preparation and production requirements in assigned duties
- Ability to receive direction from supervisors, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work reliably while unsupervised at times
- Consistent attendance and good attitude
