Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing high-quality food while maintaining food safety standards, kitchen cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Duties include setting up and stocking ingredients, cooking using grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking methods, and ensuring dishes are prepared consistently to established standards. Maintain food safety and sanitation, clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment, manage inventory checks and temperature logs, and support overall kitchen operations. Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes precisely, and collaborate with team members to deliver quality meals and service. Preferred: Certificate or coursework in Culinary Arts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, prep cook, or similar food service role
- Experience with various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food preparation procedures
- Ability to follow recipes, directions, and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
