Job Summary
Full-Time Line Cook / Head Cook at Otterbein SeniorLife in St. Marys, OH. Responsible for reading the menu to estimate food requirements, preparing and cooking food to company standards, and serving residents and guests under sanitary conditions. Duties include measuring ingredients, using kitchen equipment to prepare a variety of dishes, adjusting recipes as needed, testing for doneness, portioning and garnishing, maintaining equipment sanitation, coordinating with other staff to minimize waste, replenishing food on the service line, and following prep sheets for the next day. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED preferred and 2–5 years cooking experience in LTC or similar settings preferred. Required Qualifications
