Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for setting up stations, preparing a variety of foods (meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items), arranging sauces/garnishes, proper storage, notifying Chef of shortages, and ensuring menu items meet established standards. Maintain sanitary work area, assist with duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager, and collaborate with team to deliver quality service during nights. Requires ability to work quickly, efficiently, and under pressure with strong teamwork and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Basic understanding of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
